I purchased my first laundromat in March of 2020 and I have a new location opening up in February of this year. I didn't start out in the laundry business. I spent 40 years in electronic sales. After retiring from that I decided that I wanted to do something new. I wasn't sure what that was until I met my current partner and he sold me on the idea. Owning a laundromat would be a great way to make a bit of a profit while providing a vital service to the community. It has also allowed me to get to know people in the community which has made the whole thing worthwhile in and of itself.
